1. General Principles
Hareki Studio is offered as a digital service operated by Hareki LLC (New Mexico, USA). This Refund Policy covers all payments and subscriptions made through the Platform.
- Hareki Studio, as a digital service, falls under the digital content exception of the European distance selling regulations.
- When the service begins to be used (with the first content generation or credit usage), the right of withdrawal is deemed to have been waived.
- This policy does not restrict mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Free Trial
Hareki Studio offers a free trial period to all new users:
- Duration: 7 days
- Credits: 7 free credits
- No payment information is required at registration.
- No automatic charges are made at the end of the trial period.
- You can evaluate all core features of the Platform during the trial period.
3. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Cancellation can be done from Settings > Billing section or by contacting our support team.
- After cancellation, full access to the Platform continues until the end of the current billing period.
- No pro-rata refund is provided for the remaining period.
- Automatic renewal is stopped and no charges are made in the next period.
- After the subscription period ends, your account is downgraded to the free plan.
4. Credit Refund
Hareki Studio operates with a credit system:
- Unused credits are non-refundable.
- Credits cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Credits cannot be sold or transferred to third parties.
- Credits spent due to technical errors (system-caused failed generations) are reviewed upon support request, and credit refunds are provided in justified cases.
5. Exceptional Refund Conditions
In the following cases, refunds may be considered entirely at the Company's discretion:
- 14-day refund guarantee: A refund may be reviewed if requested within 14 days of the payment date and 10 or fewer credits have been used during that period.
- Extended technical outage: A proportional refund may be provided for the affected period when the service cannot be used continuously for more than 72 hours due to technical issues.
- Incorrect charging: In case of system error or double charging, a full correction and refund of the overcharged amount is made.
Note: No refund is issued once usage exceeds 10 credits. Exceptional refund requests are evaluated individually, and the Company reserves the right to accept or reject any refund request.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Submit a written request to support@hareki.com. Include your account email address, payment date, and reason for refund in your request.
- Requests are evaluated within 5 business days and results are communicated via email.
- Approved refunds are reflected to the original payment method within 5-10 business days through the Stripe payment infrastructure.
- Refund timing may vary depending on your bank.
7. Chargeback Policy
Users are expected to use the Company's refund process first:
- If a chargeback (reverse transaction) is initiated directly through the bank or credit card institution without first requesting a refund, the relevant account is immediately suspended.
- Costs created by unjustified chargeback transactions (processing fees, administrative costs) are passed on to the user.
- Account access may be restricted during the chargeback process.
- Repeated unjustified chargeback attempts result in permanent account closure.
8. EU Consumer Rights
For users residing in the European Union:
- Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, there is a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content services.
- However, this right ends when the performance of the digital content service has begun and the user's explicit consent to waive the right of withdrawal has been obtained.
- This waiver is secured through explicit consent (checkbox) obtained from the user during the registration and payment process.
- Once service performance has begun, the legal withdrawal right ends; however, under Company policy a refund request may still be reviewed within the first 14 days when 10 or fewer credits have been used.
9. Turkey Consumer Rights
For users residing in Turkey:
- Distance sales contract provisions under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection apply.
- Under Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services performed instantly in electronic environments and intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer.
- The user explicitly acknowledges before payment that the digital content service performance has begun and that they waive their right of withdrawal.
- This policy does not restrict mandatory consumer rights under Law No. 6502 and related regulations.
